Willow Coffin Course
Learn from Woven Farewell founder Sophia how to make a beautiful woven urn for cremation ashes, with a thick double layered cotton lining, with elegant wooden toggle lid fixings. This workshop will cover basic and intermediate willow basketry techniques, beginners are very welcome and will be given appropriate extra support. Participants will take away their own hand woven willow urn, an experience of being with like-minded, friendly people for the weekend, and transferable heritage willow weaving skills. The workshop will take place over a weekend in the beautiful rolling hills of East Devon.
Course Schedule
Cancellation Policy
If a cancellation is made 28 days or more before the course start date then a full refund will be given. If a cancellation is made between 28 days and 14 days before the course start date and we are able to allocate your place to another student, then a 50% refund will be given. In the event that we are unable to allocate your place to another student, no refund will be given. If a cancellation is made less than 14 days before the course start date then no refund will be given. If we cancel a course due to our illness or severe weather conditions, we will offer an alternative date/course during the current course calendar. If this is not acceptable we will offer a refund.
